Competition Overview:

We aim to inspire children's creativity and curiosity, encouraging them to observe and discover the wonders and beauty of the world around them through the lens. We sincerely invite young photographers from around the world to pick up their cameras, capture those heartwarming and captivating moments from their unique perspectives, and tell their own visual stories through photos.

Whether it's vast natural landscapes, bustling urban corners, or vivid animal scenes and emotionally charged portraits, participants are free to choose their shooting themes based on personal preferences and interests. This is a visual feast aimed at showcasing the imagination, creativity, and unique insights of children and youth.

Categories:

- Kindergarten Group: Kindergarten K.1 to K.3

- Primary School Group: Primary P1 to P3

- Primary School Group: Intermediate P4 to P6

- Junior High Group: Junior High S1 to S3

- Senior High Group: Senior High S4 to S6

- Public Group: College or above, no age limit

Submission Format:

Submit photo files (files must be in JPEG or PNG format).

Welcome to accompany the submission with a description of up to 100 words, explaining the inspiration and background story of the photo.

Competition Process:

1. Fill out the registration form on this page and submit.

2. Contact us via WhatsApp.

3. Submit the competition photos via WhatsApp before the deadline.

4. Await the announcement of the results!

Competition Rules:

1. Participants are welcome to use works submitted in other competitions.

2. Once registration information is submitted, it cannot be changed.

3. If submitted works cannot be opened for any reason, participants will not be scored.

4. Participants must shoot according to the "Work Requirements Guide."

5. The work must be shot by the participant themselves, otherwise, their eligibility will be revoked.

Submission Requirements:

1. Works must be independently completed by the participant themselves or independently completed under the guidance of parents and instructors.

2. Entries must be original and not infringe on the rights of third parties (including intellectual property rights, confidentiality, or privacy).

3. Images should remain original, without significant post-processing through Photoshop or other software.

4. No special effects should be added, such as filters, subtitles, or special effects.

5. Basic color correction and cropping are acceptable.

6. Photos taken with digital cameras or smartphones are accepted.

7. Photos should be clear and free of blur, with a resolution of at least 300dpi.

8. Each work must adhere to the selected competition theme, and the file size of each photo must be at least 1MB.

9. Submission Method: Submit works via WhatsApp.

Before uploading the file, save the file name as "Category_Participant's Chinese or English Full Name_Theme."

Example: "Primary Group_LI JIAMING_City Rhythm", "Primary Group_LEE KA MING_City Rhythm"

Scoring Criteria:

Judges will rate and score participants' overall performance on a scale of 0 to 100. The following aspects of the participants' performance will also be considered:

- Creativity and Originality (30%)

- Technical Skills (25%)

- Composition and Aesthetic (20%)

- Relevance to Theme (15%)

- Emotional Expression and Narrative (10%)

Each work will be scored by two professional judges to ensure fairness. The judging panel members include consultants of the association, professional photographers, representatives of various school organizations, and industry professionals.

Awards and Honors:

Individual Awards:

For each age group, the following awards are set:

- Gold Award (90 points or above)

- Silver Award (80 points or above)

- Bronze Award (70 points or above)

- Excellent Award (below 69 points)

Winners can apply for customized awards with their names engraved.

Physical Award Costs:

- Certificate + Medal: $300

- Certificate + Trophy: $350

- Certificate + Medal + Trophy: $399

The awards that have been ordered will be shipped within 8 weeks after the deadline for ordering, with postage paid upon receipt via SF Express.

School/Group Awards:

- Any school/education center/group recommending 10 or more participants will receive a "Group Award."

- Any instructor recommending 5 or more participants will receive a "Teacher Award."

Award Collection Rules:

1. Competition results will be notified by email and published on this website.

2. Competition awards will be dispatched within two months after the end of the award application.

3. Competition awards and certificates will be sent via SF Express with postage paid upon receipt.

4. Once the competition awards are signed for or received, no replacement will be issued in case of any damage or loss.

5. The organizer is not responsible for any delivery failures due to incorrect information or communication difficulties.

Notes:

1. The association has the right to publicly publish or display participants' videos in text, audio, video, or other forms.

2. The organizing institution has the right to reject inappropriate, irrelevant, or incorrectly formatted entries.

3. Entries must not contain obscene, improper, insulting, or controversial content.

4. Participants must understand and agree to the rules and regulations of the competition.

5. Violators of any competition rules may have their participation canceled by the organizer and the judging committee.

6. The association trusts and respects the final judgment made by the judges based on their professionalism and experience.

7. The judging panel reserves the final decision on the competition, and participants may not object.

8. The association reserves the right to change all the above terms and interpret the competition rules without prior notice.

9. Winners may not transfer their award qualifications to others.

10. All participants must abide by the competition rules, and submission and participation imply agreement to the competition regulations and statements.

11. In case of any disputes, the association reserves the final decision-making authority.
